We assert that our
teachers take great pride in presenting their subject matter in a skillful
and informative fashion - one that can be easily understood while at the
same time presenting a challenge to the students to know and to learn more.
We believe our students
have a responsibility to themselves to become actively involved in the
learning process, whether it is within the confines of the classroom, or
during the more relaxed aspects of social interactions. Both students and
faculty have a civic responsibility to uphold and to promote the high ideals
of education within the surrounding community and throughout the general
populous.
Our primary goal as
educators is to teach students how to learn on their own. Still, the
greatest success of our students should be measured by their ability to seek
out information and create learning experiences unique to their own
situations.
It is our sincere hope
that by the time students leave our school they will have developed the
necessary basic skills of written and verbal communication enabling them to
care for themselves, to care for family and friends, and to become
productive and caring citizens of society. |
